Bully Entertainment had the distinct honor of helping the folks at National Geographic create a fully animated tree of life (and a bunch of other graphics) for tonight's 'Darwin's Secret Notebooks' special. For show times and more information take a look here.
Bully's Gingerbread Man went solo in a series of spots for DiscoveryHealth.com where he dispensed useful tips about staying fit when faced with all-you-can-eat Indian buffets, forming walking groups with friends, and pumping weights. A couple of them can be found here.
Check out our latest Rankin/Bass influenced CG spots for the Discovery Health Channel where a quick thinking Gingerbread man saves his skin by appealing to his would-be eater's waistline. Created as long lead teases for DCH's National Body Challenge, the spots will be running through the end of the year coupled with online segments featuring the Gman dispensing his healthy eating and exercise words of wisdom.
Squeezed out in a couple week time-line (once we got started again), this Discovery Channel game features a custom AS3 engine to let us throw around full-frame, pre-rendered graphics, dynamically generated rain, a tile-based world system and 3 mini-games.
Are we proud of it. Yes. Are we glad its over. Yes.
Kudos to Disc producer Kirk Denkler for pulling it out from the Discovery-about-to-go-public cost cutting ashes - and Bob (and family) and the Bully team for a herculean effort.

Check out the Storm Chasers advertorial in this month's Wired magazine - we created a 3D model of the TIV2 vehicle featured in the upcoming season of Discovery's Storm Chasers and our orthographic renders make up the cornerstone of the spread. The photo composites were done brilliantly by Indigo Studios - www.indigostudios.com - who also supplied some great texture reference.

Iridium Satellite, provider of global satellite voice and data communications solutions - with a bazillion satellites blanketing the entire earth - needed a fast paced presentation of their Short Burst Data service.
